RunIt is an AI assistant for your communications. It reads the messages you connect, drafts replies in your voice, and keeps track of what you owe people and what they owe you. Nothing sends until you approve it. RunIt is operated by Dream Big Fast LLC, a Utah limited liability company. Questions about anything here: [email protected].

This policy covers the RunIt app and this website. Because RunIt reads your messages, we wrote it to say plainly what we touch, what we keep, and what we never do.

The short version

What RunIt accesses, and only if you connect it

• Email and calendar (Google). RunIt reads your Gmail so it can draft replies and spot commitments and follow-ups, sends the replies you approve, and reads and creates calendar events so drafts and holds respect your schedule.
• Text messages (iMessage and SMS). A small RunIt agent runs on your own Mac, signed into your own Apple ID by you. It reads your Messages history on that Mac and sends the replies you approve. We never ask for, see, or store your Apple ID password.
• Instagram direct messages. Through Meta's official API, RunIt reads your Instagram DMs and sends the replies you approve. This requires an Instagram professional (business or creator) account.
• Meeting recordings and notes. If you connect a recording source or upload a file, RunIt reads the transcript to pull out actions and context.
• What you tell RunIt directly. Rules you write, notes, edits you make to drafts, contacts you add, and files you upload.
• Account and billing details. Your name, email, phone number for approval texts, and billing information handled by Stripe.

What RunIt keeps

• What it learned, not your whole archive. For connected accounts, RunIt stores summaries, contact details, actions, and a pointer back to the original message. It reads the original live from your account when it needs more.
• Drafts and receipts. The drafts it writes, what you approved, edited, or skipped, and a receipt for every action it takes, including the rule that allowed it. This is how you can always see why RunIt did something.
• Your own outgoing words are not stored. When you send a message yourself, outside of RunIt, RunIt reads it once to notice anything you asked for, then discards the text. It keeps only a note that the thread was answered.
• Files you upload are kept in full so RunIt can use them, until you delete them.
• Drafts expire. Unapproved drafts drop out of your queue after about two days.

How we use it

• To draft replies in your voice and keep track of commitments, follow-ups, and contacts for you
• To send the messages and create the calendar items you approve
• To show you receipts, a morning brief, and your approval queue
• To keep the service secure, fix problems, and support you when you ask
• To bill you for the service

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train or improve general AI models. It is used to run RunIt for you, and nothing else.

Google user data

RunIt's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only use Google user data (Gmail and Google Calendar) to provide and improve the user-facing features described above: drafting replies, sending the replies you approve, tracking follow-ups, and scheduling.
• We do not transfer Google user data to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
• No person reads your Google user data unless you give us permission for a specific support request, it is necessary for security or abuse investigation, it is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
• We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of service providers, each only to run RunIt for you:

• Anthropic provides the AI model that reads context and writes drafts. Content is sent through Anthropic's commercial API, which does not use it to train models.
• Cloud hosting providers, including Cloudflare, run your RunIt instance and this website.
• Google, Meta, and Apple are where your connected accounts live. RunIt reads from and sends through them on your instruction.
• Twilio delivers approval texts to your own phone, if you use them.
• Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the safety of a person or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Security

Each customer runs on a separate instance with a separate database. Connection tokens are stored encrypted. Actions that affect the outside world require your approval, and each one is checked and logged before it runs. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we built RunIt so that your data stays separated, minimized, and under your control.

Your choices

• Disconnect any account from RunIt's settings, or revoke access from the provider (your Google account permissions, Facebook and Instagram apps settings, or by removing the RunIt agent from your Mac).
• Export a full copy of your RunIt data.
• Delete your data. See how to delete your data.
• Ask what we hold about you or correct it by emailing [email protected]. If you live somewhere that grants specific data rights, tell us and we will honor them.

People you message

RunIt processes messages from the people you communicate with, only to help you reply to them. If you are one of those people and have a question or request about your information, email [email protected].

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete your RunIt instance and its database within 30 days, except for billing records we are required to keep by law.

Children

RunIt is built for business owners and operators. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will tell you directly before it takes effect.
